QReplace is a small tool for finding and replacing items in text files without needing to open the files individually. It's particularly useful if you want to make the same amendment to several files without having to go into each one and manually carry out the find and replace in the text. Developed in VB.Net 2005 Express. Version 2 adds multiple selections of files. See readme file in the download for more information.

PASSWORD INVENTOR

Store passwords in an encrypted file. Simple UI and facility to generate & store random passwords. Developed in VB.Net 2005 Express. A detailed readme file is contained within the download file.

Limitations:
- The files are encrypted using older DES encryption.
- Passwords save to a text file which although is very compact, means only one user can edit & save at a time if the file is shared.
- Currently no method to organise passwords and limited to a total of 240 records.
- Improvements to security of password file to open app.

Project status: In development & work in progress - future updates planned to address some limitations.
